With a deep exploration of personalities at odds, contrasting outlooks, and a shared love interest, and the deeper social commentary on the corrupt rule of the Wizard of Oz threatening to tear a perfect world apart, everybody and anybody is bound to get drawn into the enthralling storytelling, quippy theatrics, nuanced and interesting characters, and, of course, composer Stephen Schwartz’s incredible score.
